HR Generalist

About the role

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for an HR Generalist in Perrysburg Township, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing distribution center with the potential to be hired on permanently.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and source qualified candidates using multiple recruiting methods
• Coordinate hiring activities and support onboarding processes
• Create, maintain, and update employee personnel files
• Draft and revise HR policies to ensure compliance with current regulations
• Initiate and manage employee incident reports through resolution
• Coach, motivate, and support employees and supervisors
• Prepare and administer employee disciplinary documentation
• Organize team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all HR matters
• Aid with additional HR and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous Human Resources experience required
• Strong recruiting and sourcing experience
• Knowledge of employment policies and HR best practices
• Experience maintaining confidential employee records
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is a plus

1st Shift Monday through Friday
7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Occasional overtime may be required
