HR Generalist

Founded in 1975, BR+A Consulting Engineers maintains a total staff of over 500 employees located at our main office in Boston and branch offices in New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Vienna, VA (Washington, DC); Coral Gables (Miami) and Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Charlotte and Raleigh, NC; Charleston, SC; Houston, TX; New Haven, CT; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; and Toronto. BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our talented team in our Boston headquarters. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, be highly organized, have excellent writing skills, demonstrate proficient computer skills, and have a professional and team-oriented demeanor. This Position’s Duties Include This person is able to foster positive and professional relationships with all colleagues as this position interacts with employees to handle questions, requests or problemsChampions and facilitates the onboarding process by ensuring that it is high quality and up to date, and provides clarity and connection for new employeesManages digital copies of employee records and maintains HRIS system with accrual dataCompletes Forms I‑9, verifies I‑9 documentation and maintains I‑9 filesEstablishes and maintains employee information database in ADP and/or DeltekProvides HRIS support as neededAssists with maintaining employee filesPerforms other related duties as assignedConstantly communicating with others to exchange information Position Requirements Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business6-10 years of experience in Human ResourcesAbility to maintain high standards of confidentialityAbility to handle multiple tasksAbility to communicate effectively in a professional manner BR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter – and to be part of something bigger.
