HR Generalist

About the role

Following our successful expansion into the U.S. and continued growth across Europe, we are seeking an HR Generalist to help drive our People function from our Austin hub. Reporting directly to our Senior HR Manager, this person will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations of a fast-growing, international scale-up, working hands-on with employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who enjoys being close to the business and wants to grow into a strong People Ops profile while having real impact. You will work closely with the HR Manager and leadership team, helping build scalable People processes as Biorce grows.

Requirements

• Must-haves:
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience coordinating payroll and working with external providers.
  • Familiarity with U.S. labor regulations.
  • Comfortable working with HRIS and digital tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactive, hands-on mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in English (daily working language).
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in a startup, scale-up, or tech-driven environment.
  • Exposure to remote or international teams.
  • Interest in People Analytics, process improvement, or automation.
  • Curiosity about AI, biotech, or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to EU / multi-country setups is a plus.
