HR Generalist
Description
Autocar, LLC, a manufacturer of severe-duty vocational trucks, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to ensure compliance with employment laws and support ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Summary
The HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to both leadership and employees, ensuring successful integration of new hires through structured onboarding, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting employee engagement efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred
- PHR certification is a plus, but not required
- Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting onboarding programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with both hourly and salaried employees
- Experience working with a unionized workforce

Physical Requirements
- Sit at a desk for extended periods while working on computer-aided design software
- Stand, walk, and bend during lab testing or production floor visits
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds, such as electrical components or testing equipment
