How you will contribute

  • Respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and proactive communication.
  • Support performance review processes and talent assessment programs.
  • Monitor completion of performance evaluations and facilitate annual review cycles.
  • Administer and interpret company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Aid in investigations and maintain confidential employee records.
  • Maintain employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs.
  • Support training and development programs, including compliance training and leadership development efforts.
  • Aid in the implementation and optimization of HR systems and programs.
  • Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and company events.
  • Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with retention requirements.
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Help develop tools and resources that support employee growth and development.
  • Assist managers with performance improvement planning and performance-related documentation.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, conduct, attendance, and workplace concerns.
  • Support employee relations matters by conducting fact-finding, documenting concerns, and partnering with HR leadership on resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience. Experience in employee relations, performance management, policy administration, and HR operations required. Experience supporting multi-state organizations preferred.
  • HRIS experience required.
  • Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build credibility and effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
