HR Generalist - $65-75k/yr.

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to support talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, payroll support, and day-to-day employee relations.

Job Duties

• Drive recruiting efforts from sourcing through hiring, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent
• Manage onboarding activities to ensure a positive and compliant new hire experience
• Cook up background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment screening processes
• Serve as a point person for employee benefits programs, including enrollment activities and annual open enrollment
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
• Assist employees and managers with general HR questions and policy interpretation
• Support payroll processing and timekeeping functions as needed
• Administer workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other employment-related matters
• Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives that support organizational growth

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
• Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment law, and compliance practices
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information professionally
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
