Job Summary
As a HR Generalist at DAS Aviation, you'll play a crucial role in supporting various HR and operational functions across the company. Key responsibilities include employee record management, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding/offboarding support, and communication coordination. The position is full-time, on-site in Cedar Hill, Texas, with occasional travel.
About the Role
This is a full-time position onsite in Cedar Hill, Texas. Occasional travel to other locations will occur. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. You will be expected to maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth transitions for employees across various stages of their journey with the company.
- Document and process changes related to employment status, maintain electronic employee files.
- Responsible for the full recruiting process from posting to pre-employment screenings.
- Aid in employee onboarding by scheduling start dates, facilitating orientation.
- Support offboarding by scheduling and conducting exit interviews, processing paperwork.
- Be a central point of contact for employees across various departments, supporting inquiries and coordinating HR processes.
- Support other HR-related functions as needed.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred.
- Two to five years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using HRIS systems (ADP preferred), ATS, project management software like Monday.com, Smartsheets or Asana.
