HR / Employment Generalist - Kokomo Complex

Responsibilities

• Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes
• Aid in workforce analysis, deployment, and people power management
• Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions such as leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc.
• Implement onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce
• Support the implementation and execution of lean manufacturing methodology
• Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives
• Assist with the administration of national and local collective bargaining agreements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 1 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong follow up, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• Able to interact with all levels of management and Union officials to accomplish goals
• Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
