About The Role
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources function by ensuring efficient administration of HR processes, maintaining employee records, and delivering excellent customer service to team members and leaders. This position assists with a variety of HR responsibilities including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, scheduling interviews, maintaining compliance documentation, and coordinating employee engagement activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain employee files and HR records in compliance with company standards and legal requirements
- Aid with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Support recruitment efforts by posting positions, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Process employment-related paperwork and HR documentation accurately and timely
- Respond to team member questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Aid with tracking attendance, corrective actions, and other employee-related documentation
- Support HR leadership with special projects and departmental initiatives
- Create engaging employee communications including monthly newsletters, flyers, posters, digital signage, and announcements
- Develop content that promotes employee engagement, recognition programs, events, and company initiatives
- Aid with planning and coordinating team member events, celebrations, and recognition activities
- Cook up HR areas, bulletin boards, and communication platforms to ensure they remain current and professional
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor regulations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
- Previous administrative, HR, communications, or employee engagement experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with experience creating flyers, newsletters, posters, or communication materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Workday experience preferred
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design platforms preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
