Job Description
The HR Coordinator supports the HR operations function, the onboarding process, and assists current and new team members. Responsibilities include guiding new teammates through the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with state-specific requirements, developing and distributing onboarding materials, managing HRIS and payroll records, and providing information and answers to HR-related questions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with a Human Resources function providing administrative support
- 2+ years of benefits administration experience, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and leave administration
- 1+ years of experience working with E-Verify and Pre-employment background checks
- 1+ years of experience working with UKG HCM
- 1+ years of experience supporting FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability claims, or leave of absence administration
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Intermediate experience with MS 365 tools (Excel, PPT, Word)
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research and resolve issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
