Responsibilities
- Handle paperwork, training, and onboarding of new hires.
- Launch background and drug testing, and request technology for new employees.
- Communicate with hiring managers to coordinate first-day schedules for new hires.
- Assist in scheduling, organizing accommodations, charges, and paperwork for Career Fairs and Internship programs.
- Coordinate corporate initiatives and training goals, such as OSHA-30, Healthcheck 360, and open enrollment.
- Support division initiatives and provide administrative assistance.
- Maintain schedules, correspondence, and logs receipts for the Director.
- Share responsibilities for the Employee Engagement Committee with the Office Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in Administrative, Education, Corporate Training, or Human Resource background.
- Experience working with personnel and confidential information.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, CDM, Adobe Acrobat, and other specific applications.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with superiors, colleagues, clients, and individuals inside and outside the company.
- Forward-thinking with strong preplanning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Two to four years of administrative experience, preferably in the commercial construction field.
- Associate degree in business is preferred; high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
Physical Demands
- Physical requirements may include walking, standing, operating tools or equipment, and lifting items up to 25 pounds.
- Tasks may be carried out in varying weather conditions and environments as applicable to the position.
