HR Coordinator
About the role
The HR Coordinator at Symbotic will serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing Tier 1 support for employee inquiries, and facilitating the offboarding process. Reporting to the Supervisor, HR Operations, this role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional HR services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of HR for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and informative introduction to Symbotic
- Lead new hire orientations and completion of necessary documentation
- Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, including welcome communications, policies and benefit guides
- Aid new employees with system access, benefits enrollment, and initial HR-related questions
- Support employees, managers and the business with questions related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team members or departments as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees including applicable exit information
- Congratulate employees on milestones such as anniversaries, parental leave, and bereavement
- Track and manage the Symbotic Tuition Reimbursement program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgement
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive and protected information appropriately

Pay
The base range for this position in the posted location is $29.81 - $41.25. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role based in Wilmington, MA. (3 days a week).
Our Environment
- Up to 10% of travel may be required
- Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations
- The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis
