Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruiting activities from job posting through onboarding.
- Manage and monitor job postings to ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Cook up and oversee the onboarding activities for new hires.
- Serve as a key point of contact for new employees, supervisors, and onboarding team members.
- Support internship programs, including coordinating paperwork and communication with supervisors and educational partners.
Training & Employee Development
- Coordinate employee training programs and learning initiatives.
- Partner with managers to schedule and track required training.
- Maintain training records and ensure completion of agency-wide requirements.
- Aid employees with training questions and documentation requests.
- Collaborate with leadership and external partners to provide educational resources and staff development opportunities.
Compliance & HR Administration
- Keep employee files and electronic records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track and monitor licenses, certifications, driver's licenses, insurance documentation, and training requirements.
- Manage I-9 compliance and employee record retention processes.
- Conduct regular audits of personnel files and follow up on missing documentation.
- Aid with employment verification requests and reporting requirements.
- Ensure labor law postings and required HR documentation remain current and accessible.
HR Operations & Reporting
- Utilize HRIS and other HR technology platforms to maintain employee records and documentation.
- Prepare recurring reports and support audit requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Scan, organize, archive, and maintain employment-related documentation.
- Support supervisors with job description updates, performance evaluation documentation, and HR-related administrative projects.
Team Collaboration
- Serve as a resource to employees, managers, interns, volunteers, and community partners.
- Function as backup support for other Human Resources team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute ideas that improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
