Responsibilities
- Cook up onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork, system entries, and pre-employment steps are completed accurately and promptly.
- Manage HR data entry and keep employee information up-to-date within HR systems, focusing on accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
- Support employment screening and related verification tasks to expedite candidate processing through the hiring process.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the HR function, including document handling, tracking requests, and answering routine employee inquiries.
- Maintain compliance-related records and HR documentation in line with company policies and employment requirements.
- Partner with site leaders and HR team members to address workforce needs for a facility with a substantial employee base.
- Coordinate onsite HR activities during core business hours, with most support provided mid-week in the office.
- Contribute to operational HR projects, including assisting with workflow adjustments tied to new tools or changing business needs as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and comfort with performing high-volume data entry with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accurate records.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in an onsite setting.
- Effective communication skills and the capability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners.
- Availability to work onsite in Maple Plain, Minnesota, with a schedule centered around Tuesday through Thursday and core hours between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
