HR Coordinator
PEKO is a full-service, debt-free, privately-owned contract manufacturer with over 60 years in the Rochester, NY community. We deliver new product development (NPI) strategies for product commercialization and provide solutions in the medical, industrial, defense, and renewable energy industries.
About the role
As the HR Coordinator, you will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a stable environment and comfortable with being an individual contributor.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the HR team, including the Manager, Generalists, and Administrator
- Handle daily timekeeping tasks in FactoryTrack to ensure correct job allocation
- Assist in creating and running ad hoc reports for various department requests
- Assist the recruiting process by scheduling interviews and conducting pre-screening calls as needed
- Assist on payroll processing as needed
- Facilitate the occupational physician schedule to manage pre-employment appointments
- Maintain accurate employee files according to department folder protocols and ensure HRIS data is correct
- Process job changes, salary adjustments, and other employee changes as needed
- Respond to general support inquiries for all employees as needed, under the direction of the HR Manager
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator position or similar
- Attention to detail

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $26.44 - $29.80 per hour. The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational requirements.
