HR Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for daily employee questions regarding basic company policies, benefits, attendance, and HR procedures.
- Aid in job postings, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks and physicals, and facilitating new hire orientations.
- Maintain accurate employee files, update digital HR records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and assist with workplace notifications.
- Coordinate with payroll for accurate hours tracking, PTO requests, and benefits enrollment inquiries.
- Support performance reviews, assist with manager paperwork, and organize logistical needs for training programs.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, employee recognition programs, and workplace events to foster a positive company culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in HR support. Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paychex required; ADP is a plus) and standard Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Location
Onsite at our manufacturing plant in Manchester, New Hampshire. Office hours 8-4:30 required.
