HR Coordinator

About the role
The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations by coordinating new-hire onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring training and compliance requirements are met. This role is highly detail-oriented, service-focused, and central to creating a smooth, organized, and positive employee experience.
New Haven serves adolescent girls (ages 14–18) and their families through trauma-informed, relationship-based care. With campuses in Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, we offer a warm, home-like setting that blends therapeutic support with accredited academics. Our focus areas include trauma recovery, family systems, emotional regulation, and mental health.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and deliver orientation.
- Maintain personnel files and manage required documentation.
- Complete accurate data entry across HRIS, learning systems, and engagement platforms.
- Track training deadlines and maintain certification records.
- Assist with employee relations and recognition efforts.
- Support Joint Commission and regulatory audit readiness.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies to employees and managers.
- Provide consistent communication and support to program leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and database systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to deliver professional, employee-focused service.
- Ability to work effectively across departments.
- Composure and reliability in a variety of employee interactions.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check, drug screening, and TB test.
Pay
$24.00 - 26.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule
Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)
