Serves customers by determining requirements; answering inquiries; resolving problems; fulfilling requests; and maintaining database.
Responsibilities
- Answers incoming questions immediately via phone, email, and web portal.
- Contacts customers via oral or written correspondence to resolve questions.
- Documents all pertinent employee information, including name, department, contact information, and the nature of their call.
- Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
- Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
- Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1+ years of previous human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Schedule
4 days a week in the North Shore office location, 1 day remotely.
