About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Coordinator to support our store locations. The ideal candidate will assist with various HR functions, including talent acquisition, training, safety, leave management, and more.
Responsibilities
- Aid in posting open positions, monitoring applications, and sending electronic offer letters.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and complete Form I-9.
- Manage leave of absence paperwork and track accordingly in HRIS.
- Enter First Reports of Injury into incident tracking software and ensure compliance with worker's compensation.
- Partner with HR and the Worker's Compensation team to handle reported injuries.
- Support training for new hires and annual training requirements.
- Assist with employee relations concerns and investigations.
- Create and execute employee engagement activities and the United Way Campaign.
- Assist in celebrating Service Awards, birthdays, and Coborn's Way Fundamentals.
Qualifications
- Passionate about supporting employees and enhancing HR practices.
- Experience in HR functions such as recruitment, training, and leave management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and incident tracking software.
