HR Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, HR records, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Respond to routine questions from employees and applicants regarding HR policies, benefits, and the hiring process, escalating more complex matters as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
• Cook up and/or assist with new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Coordinate and assist with benefits administration and employee communications as needed.
• Aid in planning and coordinating employee events, including benefits enrollment sessions, company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday celebrations, and retirement events.
• Aid in general HR projects and administrative functions as assigned.
• Provide support to HR leadership and the broader HR team on various initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Previous HR, administrative, or office experience preferred.
• Experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, HR Generalist, or similar role is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn and navigate HRIS and other HR-related systems; experience with ADP is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
