About the role
Provides assistance in all areas of HR, including employment, communication, team member events, and record retention. Maintains general office, front counter, lobby area, and TDR kiosks to ensure they are neat, clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
- Creates and maintains confidential employee files including personnel files, I-9s, drug testing, medical records, and benefit documents; controls confidential file access to authorized personnel only.
- Maintains employment databases including HRiS back-office and self-service sites.
- Enters employee disciplinary actions, training classes, terminations, and other status changes into the system.
- Handles team member questions and requests, escalating issues as appropriate to ensure prompt resolution.
- Sources and screens candidates to fill existing and future hourly job openings, including reviewing resumes and applications to ensure job qualifications are met, and coordinating interview schedules for HR and hiring managers.
- Assists in coordinating and facilitating on-boarding processes and orientation for new employees.
- Assists in developing and maintaining property communication, including the employee self-service portal, back-of-house hallways, and required federal, state, and local posters.
- Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude as well as a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor with all team members, applicants, and guests.
- Promotes and maintains all steps of the Customer Service program with each patron and employee.
- Complies with company policies, all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as relates to this position.
- Maintains, tracks, and audits HR documents including compliance training, policy acknowledgments, and company-wide memos/notifications.
- Provides verification of employment per policy.
- Assists with employee activities as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college, two years’ experience in Human Resources or a professional office environment, or a combination of education and/or experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn software programs such as iCims (applicant tracking system), UKG (employee database system), and Dayforce (training & development system).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and open projects simultaneously.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Demonstrated maturity and compliance with federal and state laws.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality of all privileged conversations and/or employee information.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Pay
Starting salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
