Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for entering and managing HRIS (Workday) transactions; monitor approval workflows, follow up on outstanding actions, and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Maintain and update employee data in Workday, including processing employee changes and supporting data cleanup initiatives
  • Generate HR reports and metrics, including tracking key data points and responding to reporting requests from HR and business stakeholders
  • Cook up onboarding processes by initiating new hires in Workday, conducting new hire orientation sessions, tracking start dates, and supporting new hire inquiries
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics by partnering with IT and internal teams to ensure timely equipment setup, system access, and employee readiness
  • Manage new hire communications, including welcome emails and onboarding materials; coordinate swag distribution and maintain inventory
  • Schedule and coordinate I-9 verification in compliance with federal requirements
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employees by responding to general inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate; manage and triage the HR shared inbox
  • Support employment verification letters and respond to external employment verification requests
  • Support compliance and audit initiatives by maintaining organized employee records, preparing required documentation (e.g., SOC 2, SOX), and ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Aid in executing HR programs and initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, training, and other people-related programs

Required Skills/Experience

  • 1-3+ years of experience in an HR related position
  • Proficiency with Workday (HRIS); knowledge of core HCM, time & absence, and onboarding/off-boarding modules are a plus
  • Experience with the immigration process from an employment perspective is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, RingCentral
  • Exceptionally detail oriented and client service focused
  • Exceptional organizational and process improvement skills
  • Fundamental understanding of compensation and benefits programs
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Experienced in effectively managing complexities in workload and multiple levels of leadership
