HR Business Partner - Central Valley or Bay Area, CA area

Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner ensures fair, consistent, and balanced treatment of all team members, supports company initiatives, and partners with various HR departments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate HR policies, procedures, and regulations to management
• Aid in union/non-union conflict resolution and performance management
• Collaborate with union/non-union team members and representatives on settlement agreements, grievances, and negotiations
• Coach and advise team leaders on communication, feedback, and interactions
• Conduct investigations and advise on disciplinary practices
• Create and implement performance improvement plans
• Review and approve management recommendations for terminations
• Lead team member engagement partnerships in hiring, training, coaching, counseling, performance appraisals, and terminations
• Maintain a positive team member relations environment
• Stay updated on labor laws and respond to calls and complaints

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Experience delivering excellent business results under demanding timelines
• Business savvy and proven track record of success
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• 5 years minimum of directly related experience
• 50% travel throughout assigned area regularly required

Hiring Pay Range

$77,091.00 - 92,065.00
