Regional HR Business Partner

About the role

A multi-unit Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position at Raymour & Flanigan, responsible for aligning business objectives with associates and management in customer service centers and retail showroom locations in Bucks, Monroe, Lackawanna and Lehigh County, PA. Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Creates change plans and secures commitment to change
• Shares best practices across the Region for recognition of extraordinary results and performance
• Exercises high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information
• Develops and executes talent strategies to improve associate engagement, leader effectiveness, and performance
• Supports benefits, payroll, risk management, and best practice teams by implementing special projects and programs as needed
• Generates reports as needed or requested
• Leads the annual benefits open enrollment process and wellness programs, as applicable
• Reviews complex FMLA, ADA, Leave of Absence requests and engages in the interactive process to determine best resolution

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a HR generalist/business partner position
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Strong federal and state employment law knowledge
• Strong associate relations and union avoidance background
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a coaching and consultative approach to problem solving
• High performance professional and independent self-starter with excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
• Passion for excellence and the ability to build influence with management teams and associates at all levels of the organization
• The ability to excel in a fast-paced, progressive environment
• Flexibility with work schedule and ability to travel based on business needs
• Excellent computer proficiency along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• PHR Certification
• Training and facilitation background
• Prior experience in a retail environment
• Bilingual - English / Spanish

Benefits, Pay, Schedule

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 yearly.
