About the role

Littler is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 3-8 years of labor and employment law experience to join the Houston office. The candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, and their experience should include significant litigation work. Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Prepare and present legal arguments in court
  • Conduct investigations and prepare reports related to workplace disputes
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace discrimination and harassment
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and departments within the firm

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in Texas
  • Minimum of 3-8 years of labor and employment law experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Experience with significant litigation work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule
