About the role
The Unit Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the acquisition process for new housing units. This includes researching potential properties, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate potential housing units for acquisition
- Negotiate contracts with property owners
- Ensure all acquisitions comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage the documentation and approval processes for each acquisition
- Work closely with other departments to ensure successful unit integration into the housing portfolio
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate or housing management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations
- Experience with property management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
