Acquisition Specialist
About the role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support a client in the Northern VA area. The role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring efficient sourcing of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential suppliers
- Negotiating contracts
- Maintaining strong vendor relationships to support organizational objectives
- Analyzing market trends, assessing supplier performance, and coordinating with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Streamlining purchasing activities and optimizing supply chain operations
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with procurement software and/or logistics tracking tools
- Familiarity with contract management platforms, supplier evaluation frameworks, and data analysis tools
- Experience in managing logistics operations, overseeing shipment schedules, and resolving supply chain disruptions
Bonus Points
- A background in negotiating with vendors, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Contract negotiation

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is $100,200—$203,400 USD.
