Acquisition Specialist
About the role
An Acquisition Specialist will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) with analytical, consulting, and/or assessments of technical, business & administrative goals of a Department of War (DoW) research program. You will perform analysis requiring advanced knowledge of the DoW procurement process and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support analytical, consulting, and/or assessments of technical, business & administrative goals of a Department of War (DoW) research program
- Perform analysis requiring advanced knowledge of the DoW procurement process and methodologies
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Masters Degree
- SIX (6) or more years' experience with Department of War (DoW) acquisition processes
- Experience should include, but not be limited to:
- Experience with varied acquisition methodologies and strategies within the DoD
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement requirements, as required within the FAR
- Experience working with contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transactions
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with DARPA
- Leveraging and integrating AI tools to improve processes and workflow efficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Organizing, multitasking, and responding to quick turn-around requests
- Analyzing, summarizing, and communicating the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Clear and succinct oral, visual, and written communication skills
Skills
- Prior experience working with DARPA
- Leveraging and integrating AI tools to improve processes and workflow efficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
