Housing Repair Technician
Duties/Responsibilities
- Repair Perform routine inspection, removal, maintenance, and repair of furniture in residential hall rooms and lounges to ensure functionality and safety.
- Affix and remove window blinds across resident halls as needed.
- Maintain dry-erase and bulletin boards throughout residence halls, ensuring proper placement and functionality.
Requirements
- Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: H.S. Diploma
- Previous experience in a related maintenance role
- Prior experience with small carpentry repairs
- Identifying and requesting replacement parts
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of basic power and hand tools
- Ability to perform and understand routine and complex repairs
- Capability to lift 25 pounds
- Work independently
- Maintain strong organizational skills
- Flexible and reliable
- A strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
Compensation
Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00/Hour
