Housing Repair Technician

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Repair Perform routine inspection, removal, maintenance, and repair of furniture in residential hall rooms and lounges to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Affix and remove window blinds across resident halls as needed.
  • Maintain dry-erase and bulletin boards throughout residence halls, ensuring proper placement and functionality.

Requirements

  • Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: H.S. Diploma
  • Previous experience in a related maintenance role
  • Prior experience with small carpentry repairs
  • Identifying and requesting replacement parts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of basic power and hand tools
  • Ability to perform and understand routine and complex repairs
  • Capability to lift 25 pounds
  • Work independently
  • Maintain strong organizational skills
  • Flexible and reliable
  • A strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail

Compensation

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00/Hour
