Repair Technician

Job Duties

• Affords assistance in disassembling systems components to facilitate failure corrections or system modifications.
• Contributes to basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical faults.
• Executes validation/verification tests on systems and components.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products in accordance with provided specifications.
• Performs tasks related to the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle, such as jacking, towing, and operating systems.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience utilizing tools and adhering to work instructions.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work outside of standard shifts (second/night).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units.
• One to two years of experience soldering and assembling equipment components.
• One to two years of experience using handheld and power tools.
• Knowledge of reading and understanding basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• One to two years of experience using a microscope.
