About the role
The Hotel Market Coordinator supports the NCAA Championship Housing Team. They handle modifications for championship and regional events, develop contract negotiation skills, and collaborate with the operations team.
Responsibilities
- Manage hotel contract addendums, block releases, and handoff letters for championship and regional events.
- Develop contract negotiation expertise to support championship agreements.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely communication of updates and changes.
- Proactively research online rates and compare to contracted NCAA blocks.
- Assist with client, vendor, and customer calls and issues.
- Develop and implement new procedures to allow for efficiencies within the department.
- Answer emails and questions from Anthony Travel on-site reps related to NCAA Championships.
- Build and maintain relationships with key hotel and client contacts.
- Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to ensure all are completed on time.
- Perform other tasks as necessary to assure success of the program, as requested by the Senior Manager Travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years previous sales admin and/or supportive roles experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to effectively interact with management on a regular basis.
- Strong at multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism, positive attitude, and a team player.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
