About the role

The Hotel Market Coordinator supports the NCAA Championship Housing Team. They handle modifications for championship and regional events, develop contract negotiation skills, and collaborate with the operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel contract addendums, block releases, and handoff letters for championship and regional events.
  • Develop contract negotiation skills and understanding of NCAA sports.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to Hotel Market Managers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to manage the contract work flow.
  • Research and compare online rates to contracted NCAA blocks.
  • Assist with client, vendor, and customer calls and issues.
  • Develop and implement new procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Answer emails from Anthony Travel on-site reps related to NCAA Championships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key hotel and client contacts.
  • Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of previous sales/administrative experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to interact effectively with management.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Professionalism, positive attitude, and teamwork.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
