About the role
The Hotel Market Coordinator supports the NCAA Championship Housing Team, providing comprehensive housing solutions and event lodging support for all 94 NCAA Championships and other applicable events.
Responsibilities
- Manage hotel contract addendums, block releases and handoff letters for championship and regional events within all markets
- Develop contract negotiation expertise to support championship agreements
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure timely communication of updates and changes
- Provide administrative and organizational support to Hotel Market Managers
- Develop and implement new procedures to allow for efficiencies within the department
- Proactively research online rates and compare to contracted NCAA blocks
- Assist with client, vendor, and customer calls and issues as needed
- Answer emails and questions from Anthony Travel on-site reps as it pertains to NCAA Championships
- Develop relationships and work effectively with key hotel and client contacts
- Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to ensure all are completed on time
- Perform other tasks as necessary to assure success of the program, as requested by the Senior Manager Travel
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years previous sales admin and/or supportive roles experience, preferably in a hotel environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to effectively interact with management on a regular basis
- Strong at multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, positive attitude, and a team player
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are key
