About the role
The International Housing Coordinator is responsible for disseminating housing rules and regulations, maintaining an inventory of supplies, conducting monthly audits and inspections, assisting the Employee Services Office, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Disseminate housing rules and regulations to all residents
- Keep an accurate inventory of housing and resident supplies
- Complete monthly audits and inspections in housing units
- Conduct follow-up inspections when necessary
- Assist the Employee Services Office with daily operations
- Prepare and clean units for International arrivals and check-ins
- Plan and execute housing events, trips, and activities
- Complete regular room inspections to maintain quality housing
- Collect and organize mail and packages daily for residents
- Report maintenance issues immediately
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Team Members' personal information
- Greet all Guests entering the Administration building professionally
- Document counseling sessions directly into team member's control card
- Ensure all housing rules are followed and address situations that occur
- Assist the Employee Services Office with daily operations, such as recording, documenting, and communicating Team Member lateness, call outs, and no call no shows
- Avoidance of any emergency situations and handling issues that arise
- Assist with communication to Work and Travel agencies regarding their participants
- Avoidance of interviews when needed
- Understand all Federal, State, and Company Labor Laws ensuring full compliance
- Knowledge of J1 and H2B Visas is a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Paid at $17.50 per hour
- Requires 4-5 days availability, including weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess above average communication skills
- Must possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, Publisher, Outlook
- Must be highly organized
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs consistently and carry 25 lbs over various surfaces in all types of weather conditions
Qualifications
- Knowledge of J1 and H2B Visas is a plus, but not required
