About the role
The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) is seeking a Supervisor - Housing Authority to lead a team and support our mission of Changing Lives. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, coaching abilities, and a passion for our mission.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the work of assigned staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
- Train and coach staff in best practices and policies.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of subsidized housing programs, including HCV and Homeless Innovations.
- Manage and train staff to handle client interactions and ensure quality service.
- Oversee recertification processes and maintain waiting lists for housing programs.
- Handle contract negotiations with property owners and agents.
- Facilitate Section 3 employment opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in housing, advocacy, community development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HUD-established performance standards and regulations.
- Experience with computer literacy, including data entry and program-related software.

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

This position is Full-Time - In Office in Sacramento, CA. The Agency operates on a 9-8-80 Work Schedule, providing work-life balance with every other Friday off.
