Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Woodland Terrace maintains a clean and safe community by coordinating and directing all housekeeping services. They ensure safety and health standards are met and inspire exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities
• Inspect associates' work performance
• Schedule general cleaning before move-ins and after move-outs
• Investigate complaints about service and equipment
• Arrange for services such as painting, repair work, renovations etc.
• Interview, hire, train, manage, and retain highly effective associates
• Remain updated in changing OSHA laws and/or other regulations

Requirements

• High school graduate; some college preferred
• Three to five years’ experience as a supervisor and/or in a housekeeping lead role
• Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Senior Living experience
• Spanish-speaking skills

Skills

• Technical training or certification (e.g., National Environmental Health Association) is desirable

Pay

$21–$23 per hour

Schedule

Full-Time — Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5 day work week w/ occasional weekends)
