Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are clean and maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working order.
• Train and mentor new cleaning staff members.
• Coordinate with other departments to address any issues that may arise during the cleaning process.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and standards.

Pay
