Pay

$27 per hour

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; further education or hospitality certification is a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a room attendant or in a previous supervisory role in a hotel/hospitality setting.
• Skills: Strong leadership, delegation, and team motivation abilities; working knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and sanitation standards; excellent time management and multitasking skills; good verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations & Inspection: Inspect guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas to verify cleanliness and safety compliance; update room statuses in the property management system and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Staff Management: Conduct morning briefings, assign cleaning sections to room attendants, distribute keys, and manage staff schedules or replacements for absences.
• Training & Quality Control: Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and brand standards; coach team members to improve performance and maintain professional hygiene and appearance standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels for linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed; manage lost‑and‑found items and department logs.
• Guest Relations: Respond promptly to guest complaints or special requests and resolve on‑the‑spot service issues.
