Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring all staff perform their duties efficiently and professionally.
  • Plan, organize, and assign daily cleaning tasks based on operational requirements and property occupancy schedules.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure all properties meet the company’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all properties are guest-ready, including checking cleanliness, setup, and the availability of essential items and amenities.
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.
  • Manage and drive company vehicles responsibly, ensuring their cleanliness, proper use, and timely maintenance.
  • Identify, report, and assist with minor maintenance issues to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
  • Prepare operational reports and communicate regularly with management regarding team performance, property conditions, and operational needs.
  • Resolve housekeeping-related issues and operational challenges promptly, implementing practical solutions to maintain service standards.
  • Ensure punctuality, discipline, and compliance with company procedures among all housekeeping staff while promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, property management, or a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and solve operational issues efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of property maintenance and repairs.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping duties when required.
  • Professional, reliable, punctual, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Valid manual driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles and travel between properties as required.

Goals & Performance Metrics

Performance will be evaluated based on the quality of cleaning standards, property inspection results, team productivity, punctuality, guest satisfaction, task completion rates, and the proper management of company equipment and vehicles.

Management Style

The Housekeeping Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with management through regular communication, reporting, and performance reviews. The company promotes a collaborative management approach with clear objectives and continuous support.

Schedule

  • 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, five days a week.
  • 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM one day a week during weekends.
  • Full-time position with a probation period in accordance with company policy.
  • Work schedule may include weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours depending on operational requirements.

Work Conditions

  • Regular travel between multiple managed properties.
  • Combination of supervisory, administrative, driving, and hands-on operational duties.
  • Use of company vehicles, equipment, and tools in the execution of daily responsibilities.
