About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping team's daily activities, fostering team motivation, and ensuring high cleanliness and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the housekeeping team's daily activities
- Foster team motivation and growth by providing guidance and training
- Maintain high cleanliness and productivity standards
- Efficiently allocate rooms for team members during shifts
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Monitor labour costs and conduct daily room inspections
Requirements
- A sharp eye for detail and previous leadership experience in Housekeeping
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- The ability to think on your feet to keep things running smoothly
- A high standard of personal grooming and a polished appearance
- Willingness to lead and work alongside the team
- Reliable transportation and availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Passion for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
