About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping team's daily activities, fostering team motivation, and ensuring high cleanliness and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate the housekeeping team's daily activities
  • Foster team motivation and growth by providing guidance and training
  • Maintain high cleanliness and productivity standards
  • Efficiently allocate rooms for team members during shifts
  • Ensure safety standards are met
  • Monitor labour costs and conduct daily room inspections

Requirements

  • A sharp eye for detail and previous leadership experience in Housekeeping
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • The ability to think on your feet to keep things running smoothly
  • A high standard of personal grooming and a polished appearance
  • Willingness to lead and work alongside the team
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Passion for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
