Housekeeping Room Inspector

About the role

The Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is seeking experienced and customer service-oriented individuals to join their Housekeeping team. This role involves assisting in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of the house; ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards to maintain a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Avoids accidents and follows loss prevention programs
• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and public areas
• Assists with special requests, supplies, and lost and found items
• Responds to guest requests, concerns, and problems
• Complies with attendance rules and availability for regular shifts

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus
• Keen eye for detail and respect for cleanliness and supplies
• Ability to perform physical tasks
• Flexibility to work various days and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Passport (for international travel)
