About the role

The Housekeeping Manager leads the housekeeping team, focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service in a luxury hotel setting. They are responsible for streamlining processes, managing inventory, and motivating team members to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline and optimize housekeeping operations
  • Manage inventory levels and restock supplies
  • Motivate and engage the housekeeping team
  • Ensure adherence to cleaning standards and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a seamless guest experience

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of similar work experience in a luxury hotel setting
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in hospitality or related field (a plus)
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evening shifts
  • Advanced knowledge of housekeeping operations
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate team members
  • Proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to adapt to a 24-hour operation
