About the role
This role serves as the responsible supervisor for Memorial Medical Center during non-business hours, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and compliance with hospital policies and clinical practice standards.
Responsibilities
- Covering for patient care needs, crises, and fluctuating patient activity
- Coordinating bed placement
- Maintaining scheduling databases
- Facilitating discharge planning
- Collaborating with multiple departments
- Managing after-hours O.R. scheduling
- Activating on-call teams for emergencies
- Coordinating with detention facilities
- Ensuring regulatory compliance related to EMTALA and organ donation
- Communicating significant issues to the Administrator on-call while documenting and reporting disciplinary concerns as needed
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- One year of experience in Med Surge or ER required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
