House Supervisor - Part Time Days

About the role

The RN House Supervisor is a registered nurse responsible for hospital‑wide leadership, overseeing clinical, financial, human, and material resources to ensure quality care and safety standards. They serve as a key member of the leadership team, managing operations in the absence of hospital administrators and providing mentorship to department supervisors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promote operational excellence and maintain effective communication across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate emergency responses and manage patient flow.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, and other departments to optimize patient care and hospital efficiency.
• Provide mentorship to department supervisors and staff.
• Manage operations when hospital administrators are unavailable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration.
• Active RN licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in performance‑improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
