House Supervisor - Part Time Days

About the role

The RN House Supervisor is a registered nurse responsible for hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational, financial, and human resources in the absence of senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to department supervisors, assist with staffing, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
• Promote effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork among staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Implement performance improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles and evidence-based practices.
• Manage emergency and operational responses, including surge plans and hospital codes.
• Mentor staff and serve as a change agent to foster a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Adherence to professional standards and hospital policies.
