House Supervisor (Full-Time)

About the Role

The RN House Supervisor provides hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational, and safety activities in the absence of senior leaders. They collaborate with staff, physicians, and patients to ensure delivery of safe, high-quality care while promoting a positive hospital image and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hospital operations, including staffing, resource deployment, and emergency response.
• Serve as a safety officer, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of safety.
• Coordinate communication across departments, handle complaints, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Utilize performance improvement methodologies, Lean Six Sigma principles, and evidence-based practices to drive quality initiatives.
• Act as a mentor and role model, promoting teamwork, professional development, and adherence to ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) with BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 2 years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and operational management skills.
• Ability to implement change, coordinate emergency responses, and foster collaboration among staff and medical teams.
