Hourly Manager

About the role

Shift Managers ensure each shift runs smoothly. Responsibilities include training new associates, modeling calm leadership, opening and closing the store, maintaining high product standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on position that involves working directly with guests and staff in a fast-paced, fun, and family-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth execution
• Train and onboard new associates
• Open and close the store
• Maintain high standards for product quality and customer service
• Lead by example, demonstrating calm and professional behavior
• Provide constant coaching and feedback to help the team grow
• Work hands-on with guests and staff in a non-office setting

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• 6+ months of proven management experience in food service or a related leadership role
• Ability to work all shifts, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Full-time availability with open scheduling
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development
• Solid employment track record with positive references

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely
• Occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps
• Constant use of computers, point-of-sale registers, and fountain equipment
• Frequent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area
• Constant verbal communication and clarity of vision at near and far distances
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
