Hourly Manager

About the role

Shift Managers ensure each shift runs smoothly. Responsibilities include training new associates, modeling calm leadership, opening and closing the store, maintaining high product standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on position that involves direct interaction with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth execution
• Train and coach new associates
• Lead by example in maintaining calm and professional demeanor
• Open and close the store
• Uphold high standards for product quality and customer service
• Provide constant feedback to help team members grow
• Work all shifts on the floor, engaging with guests and staff

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• 6+ months of proven management experience in food service or a related leadership role
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 55 pounds
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development
• Reliable transportation
• Full-time availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid employment track record with positive references

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds
• Occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps
• Constant use of computers, point-of-sale registers, and fountain equipment
• Frequent flexing or rotation of wrists and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area
• Constant verbal communication
• Ability to see clearly at near and far distances
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
