Description of Duties/Essential Functions

Under general direction, plans, supervises and reviews the activities of staff of the Administrative Claiming Unit engaged in the specialized fiscal/statistical gathering, analysis and preparation of fiscal oriented statistical info for federal matching funds including the operation of claims enhancement, exploratory sampling for claims enhancement, establishment of sampling designs for Federal and State audit exceptions; prepares management reports on activities of Unit, utilizing advanced computer techniques, performs statistical calculations; functions as the Random Moment Sampling (RMS) Administrator, the DMG RMW operations for income Maintenance and Project Chance workers. Independently prepares the Quarterly Statement of Expenditures for the TANF Block Grant.

Minimum Requirements

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with courses in statistics, computer science, mathematics, economy and related fields. Requires three years of progressively responsible professional experience in the development and application of research designs and statistical methods and technique, preferably in a job related subject matter. Requires thorough knowledge of the development and application of complex research design techniques and application to social and economic data.
