HOTEL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

About the role

The brand new Courtyard/Residence Inn Poplar Creek Complex is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team. The position involves assisting with preventive maintenance, general maintenance, routine and major repairs, and completing work orders in accordance with high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance of hotel rooms and general maintenance of the hotel.
• Perform routine and major repairs using hand and power tools, chemicals, and heavy machinery.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and provide excellent quality work in accordance with high standards.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in general hotel, apartment, or building maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, boilers, and mechanical systems.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Enjoy working with people.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
